The FSE Football Fans’ Guide will be a smartphone app that shall enable fans who travel to stadiums across their country or elsewhere in Europe to have all useful information relevant for football supporters with them through their mobile phone.

One year after the unlucky final at the EURO 2012 in Kiev, the Italian Fans’ Embassy is back in Europe. For the first time this year we ran a Fans’ Embassy in Prague for the Czech Republic vs. Italy, Brazil WC 2014 qualifying game. One new face in the team, (Daniel, a Cagliari supporter that lives in Milan) and the number one issue of our new fanzine, Fanzitaly.
The Ernst Happel Stadium was upside down! The stands were already boiling as the announcer read out the team line-ups. The pitch was freshly watered, 48.500 spectators, of which about 2000 had travelled from Sweden, rocked the boat. The choreography was a piece of cake. Thousands of flags, sponsored by the Stiegel brewery in Salzburg, were waved vigorously and stained the ranks in a sea of flags. The marketing department knows that it is a cheap way to teach the crowd including young children the connection between positive emotions and good Austrian beer. When the Radetzky March, which was a famous battle song to Austrian soldiers during the 19th century, roared out of the boxes the Swedes realized that the fight for second place was upon them.
